Anyone see the boxing?

Did any of you lot see the boxing at the weekend? I couldn’t catch it because as you know I did three shows on Staurday! Anyway good to see that Amir Khan won and put on a great performance. On a bad note both Enzo Maccarenelli and Nicky Cook lost and got knocked out.

I forgot to say that EMI have gone into business with me, Jack and Archie (my team)! Basically I have also signed a joint venture deal with EMI publishing aswell as my publishing deal. Our company will be called Star In The Hood publishing. The three of us now will be signing different artists and songs to Star In The Hood/EMI publishing.

Great night of boxing!

There were some terrific fights which took place last night here and in America. This clip shows Juan Manuel Marquez against Juan Diaz. I just watched this fight and it was amazing, action all the way through. Eventually Marquez knocked out Diaz in the 9th round. Both are great fighters but Marquez should now have the chance to land some huge pay days as he nears the end of his career by moving up to light welterweight.

Also last night James Degale, Frankie Gavin and Billy Joe Saunders all won their pro debuts in Birmingham.

Also Jon Thaxton lost a close fight against Anthony Mezaache in Norwich for the EBU Lightweight belt. Did any of you lot catch any of the fights last night?

Fe-Nix are a new group who are signed to All Around The World. They will also be supporting N-Dubz on their nationwide tour. This tune is called ‘Got My Swagga’. I’m really enjoying their sound.

It’s no joke in America………

I was very shocked when I saw this, it really hit home how bad things are out there. I know the recession is happening here but America is a different story.

Cotto is back!

Last night, in New York’s Madison Square Garden Miguel Cotto stopped Michael Jennings with a 5 round tko.

This was Cotto’s comeback fight after losing to Antonio Margarito last year. That defeat is very questionable with all the controversy surrounding Margarito and the hand wrap situation.

Anyway it’s good to see Cotto back and he hasn’t even hit his peak yet.

Also Kelly Pavlik won his comeback fight last night against Rubio. He lost last year to the great Bernard Hopkins.
